i’m hyperfixated on LOZ again and i request more botw champion headcanons bc i miss them
Champion Headcanons P. 8
Sorry no TOTK characters, I haven't had time to play it yet ;-;
Link isn't allowed within 10 feet of a caffeinated beverage after what happened last time.
Link accidentally called Daruk dad one time and Daruk almost started crying.
Purrah figured out how to install mobile games on her shekiah slate and plays them during important meetings.
Yunobo crys when people yell at him, and Teba found that out the hard way.
Urbosa doesn't speak to pets in a baby voice. She treats them like an esteemed colleague.
Here are a couple different items from Robbie's bucket list: Invent shrink ray so I can carry Purrah around in my pocket, clone all the champions just to see what happens, lick the malice goop, slowly replace all of Revali's weapons with foam look alikes, etc.
Zelda has sensory issues.
Sidon talks with his hands and has definitely hit someone (probably Teba) in the face because he got too excited.
Mipha has a fear of heights.
Urbosa had a pet snake at some point.
Both Link and Riju will never back down from dare and they have definitely almost died because of their stubbornness.
Revali can't swim.
Sidon's height, build, and the fact that he basically has a mouth full of shark teeth is incredibly intimidating, but he's completely unaware of that.
Link once hosted a DnD campaign for all the champions and all hell broke lose.

Baby Fever - Sidon x reader
Tumblr media
i keep thinking about how GREAT of a dad Sidon would be. that's all the context you need.
enjoy <3
y/n - your name 300+ words (353)
There were somedays where Zora’s Domain felt… empty. Sidon couldn’t help but express that to you as he moped at his desk. He’d been down for quite some time, and you knew why…
He wanted a baby.
Everyone in the domain had noticed how Sidon sulked about. It was the biggest gossip the community, though no one knew what exactly why he was in such a down mood. That was between you and him. People, especially those in the ‘King Sidon Fan Club’, would stop you when they had the chance and try to pry. But you often found your way out of it.
But there Sidon sat, at his desk, head in hand, absolutely silent.
“Darling,” You placed your hand on his shoulder. “I know you’re feeling blue about this. But, you shouldn’t dwell on it.”
“I know…” he said. “It’s just that I’ve thought about it for so long, and, well…” He sighed. “It’s hard to focus on what I need to do.”
You wrap your arms around his shoulders from behind. “You know a baby will only make life more chaotic. And you’re busy enough as it is.”
He nods, but he smiles at the thought. “Yes, but… I want it: the chaos. I want the long nights, the early mornings, the messy dinner table…” He pauses, his smile growing. “I want the challenge. And I want to share those moments with you.”
Your heart flutters.
“I’m sorry that this is consuming my every thought, y/n. I am. But…” He turns his head to look at you. “But it’s something I’ve wanted for a very long time. I understand if you’re not ready, or if you don’t like the idea of having children. But…” He swallows. “I needed to at least express that to you, because I really want to start a family with you.”
“Oh, Sidon…” You tighten your hold on him, nuzzling your face into his. “Do you think I would have married you if I didn’t want the same?” His eyes light up. “Because you know I do.”
“Really?”
You give him a reassuring smile. “Really.”

Sweet Child of Mine Part 2
kinda will be linked to tears of a kingdom
Part1
Tumblr media
Link was about mount Epona when he heard someone call his name, to be more specific it was his boys,” Master Link, where are you going?” Alec asked,” I need to go to your Village, they need my help,” he said rubbing Alec’s head,” Can I come as well?” he said looking up at him with big eyes, Link sighed and smiled softly before kneeling down to his level,” I’m sorry but it’s not safe, someone got hurt and we don’t know the extent of it,” he said not revealing everything just enough to make him know it’s serious,” Is it Dad?” he asked, Link, licked his lip and nodded sadly,” Your….your Father will be fine-“,” You just said you don’t the extent of it”, Link chuckled slightly,” You reminded me of your mother so much, she notices all the small details. Yes, I don’t know the extent of this, but I know that your father is a strong man. He won’t leave you” Jace nodded sadly making Link’s heart clench,” Do me a favour? Look out for your brothers and your Mom. She is still weak from giving birth, your a Sheikah and a champion son” Link began, cupping his son’s cheek and gently rubbing the fats of his cheek with his thumb,” So I know you to be perfect for the job, or?”,” I won’t let you down Master Link” Alec said before hugging the hero of Hyrule. Link closed his eyes and buried his nose into Jace's shoulder, he didn’t want to let go. A piece of him ever so slightly wants the Sheikah to be gone, he wants Jace to call him Dad, to have you in his arms every night but he knew why it can’t be like that, if Ganon's followers find out about you and the boys, you all be dead, so with a heavy heart he pulled away from the young boy and mounted Epona,” Goodbye Master Link” Alec said waving after Link as he rode off.
You watched Link ride off from the balcony, Jace was asleep in your arms,” He be fine” Zelda said from behind you,” It’s not Link, I’m worried about” you answered,” Priven will be fine as well, we have the technology to safe him” Zelda said rubbing your shoulder,” Have the champions been alerted?”,”Sidon is on his way to the village the others will be coming here again” Zelda said making you nod.
Much to Link’s surprise, he got to Karaiko village without a hitch, he tight Epona to a tree close to Imp’s house before quickly running up the stairs and into the house,” Master Link, good that you are here” Impa said gratefully,” How’s Proven doing?”, Impa sighed and looked at Paya whose fiddling with a wet towel,” He's in a coma, he lost to much blood and he has a concussion” she said quietly,” Can I see him?” Paya nodded and guided him to her brother, Link scanned the Sheikah male, parts of his silver hair turned into a light pink, due to the blood most likely, he was pale, his chest raised in an unsteady manner, his face was bruised and still has evidence of dried of blood on it in parts,” How did you find him?”,”He fell from his horse in the attack, hence the concussion, we think he might have been hit by an arrow. His horse in the attack ran off close to the village. He was still awake when we got to him, he was bloodied, talking nonsense the only thing we got was Yiga before he fell unconscious” she said placing the wet towel on his forehead,” How’s the baby? Is he okay? Is Y/N okay?”,”Yeah, it’s not her first baby, she did well. Alec wanted to join, but I tasked him with protecting his family” he smiled softly sitting down next to Paya,” That’s good” she slightly nervous,” Still nervous around me?” he teased making her blush,” Emmm, I.... you...I...I need to get more water” she said quickly getting up leaving the room, Link smiled after her but once she was away Link looked sadly at the man in front of him,” Priven if you can hear me. Please fight, you need to live, you have a family do it for them, do for....the boys.... they're too young to lose their father” he said.
“So what do you have in mind, my Queen?” Teba asked at the meeting, you were sitting beside Zelda, staring at the table mindlessly,” Unfortunately until we know why the attack happened we can’t do anything, but we need to be more careful from now on. Don’t travel alone, and send a message once you arrived at the destination” Zelda said making everyone nod,” Fine, we can do that”,” But for the time being I want you to stay in the castle, at least until Link is back with whatever news he can get” everyone nodded again.
Link was riding back home when he heard a familiar cackling, he looked to his left and saw multiple Yiga clan members appearing, some have their bows drawn at him while others sprinted at him with an inhuman speed with their swords, Link jumped of Epona and pulled out his trusty Master Sword and his Shield before meeting them halfway.
“Why did you attack Priven?” Link asked one of the still conscious Yiga, Link was holding by the shirt, his boot pressed against his arm so he can’t use his sword to attack him, the Yiga smirk was seen from between his unbroken mask, blood seeping from his mouth,” Say something” Link hissed now pressing his other boot into his stomach making him cough up blood,” Ganon is awaking, his true form, all of us have seen him within our dreams, he’s awaking” he said making Link’s eyes widen, he stepped away from the Yiga,” And not even you Hero of Hyrule can stop him. That Sheikah boy was just a way of getting a message out of there” he continued but Link slowly backed away towards Epona, the Yiga was to injured to follow him, but something the Yiga said next made his blood run cold.
Meanwhile, you were watching the kids Laenor was happily playing with the egg Sheikah egg they have built meanwhile Alec was standing beside the door with his wooden training sword,” My sweet boy, nothing will happen to us. The Palace is filled with trained guards”, you said walking towards him, you ruffled his hair before cupping his warm cheek,” Master Link told me to take of you, so I will do it” he said pushing your hand away gently,” You do know I am a champion and can protect myself” you smiled,” I know but you just a baby mom, until your fit again and Dad or Master Link is back I will protect you” he said making your heart melt,” I want to protect you to Mommy” Laenor said abandoning the egg and grabbing his own training sword but Alec shook his head,” No, your too young just play with your egg” Alec said pushing his brother away from him making him pout,”Okay enough protecting, let’s get something to eat, go the kitchen and I will get your brother” At the mention of food both boys faces light up, simountasly dropping their swords and rushing out the room towards the kitchen, you smiled after them, they truly did get their love of food from Link. You then walked towards the crib and saw that Jace was awake, he looked at you with curious eyes as you lifted him into your arms,”Good morning my love” you whispered against his cheek. Jace yawned at the gesture, his eyes opening slightly revealing blue eyes, the same eye colour as Link.
Link meanwhile arrived back at the castle a stable boy appearing beside him,” Master Link” he said bowing his head, grabbing Epona’s rains,” Where is Lady Y/N and her children?” he said, usually he gives the Stable boy and nod and a thank you but what the Yiga clan soldier said made his morals go out the window. The young boy blinked,” I don’t know Sir,but I assume she’s in their room” Link nodded and walked towards the castle leaving the boy with his horse.
You were feeding your son when Link bursts into the room, thankfully your body didn’t jump otherwise it would interrupt Jace’s meal.” Where are the boys?” he asked looking around,” I send them into the kitchen.Link what’s wrong? What happened to Priven?”,” I tell you with time but I need to check on the boys, stay here”. Link left leaving you perplexed behind.
Alec and Laenor were eating peacefully in the kitchen when Link walked in, a weight fell off his soul when he saw the boys eating away on the mushroom soup, a receipt which he taught them himself,” Master Link” Laenor said, climbing of his stool and ran towards Link, hugging my by the waist,” How were you adventure” Laenor asked looking up at him, his arms still wrapped around his waist,”Good, I’m glad nothing happened to you two” he said making Alec furrow his brows,”Let’s go to your mother” he said gently pulling Laenor off him.
“Your father, he’s in a coma” Link began as you all have settled down in your room, you gasped softly, your boys cocked their head not really understanding what that means,” He’s sleeping and we don’t know when he will wake up” Link said seeing the confusion on the boys face,”But he will wake up, right Master Link?” Laenor asked, Link sighed and rubbed the back of his neck,” Only the Goddess Hylia will know” you said caressing his head,”Y/N, I called for a meeting with the Queen, it will start once Sidon arrives”Link said after awhile, you looked at him, his was didn’t show anything but his eyes held worry, maybe even fear, something you only saw once in his eyes, the time where he was about face Calamity Ganon,”Stay here in your rooms, I get a maid to look after you” you said.
“How’s Priven condition?” Zelda asked Sidon,” Better, still not awake but his breathing is better, his wounds I was able to heal but the rest is up to him, it’s up to his will to live now” Sidon said, Zelda nodded and than turned to Link,”Link, you called this meeting because of other matters, do like to speak on them” Link looked up at the Queen before looking at you,”I was attacked by the Yiga clan on my way back to the Castle. The attack on Priven was to get a message across.... Ganon is awakening, his true form that is” he said,”But, he was destroyed ages ago?” you said making the other champions nod,”He has, but his remains have been buried deep underneath the castle, there was always a small possibilty for Ganon’s true form to come back” Zelda said trying to stay calm,”What can we do?”,” We go down to see, strike him with we have.... and I mean you and I” Link said,”We are champions we can help” Riju said standing up,” If anything happened down there I want to make sure people are there to defend Hyrule, you are those people” Link said looking around the table,” Zelda and I wield parts of the Triforce, we need to go down” he added,” So be it. We be leaving at dawn” Zelda said making Link nod his head.
“Y/N, can I talk to you” Link said grabbing your arm,”Of course” Link pulled you to an empty corridor,” The Yiga member, knew that the boys weren’t Priven’s” your blood went cold,” I feared this will happen” you said picking at your skin,” I will protect this family, no matter the cause, don’t let the boys leave the castle. Have a weapon on you-” he stops mid sentence and pulled an ancient knife out of his back pocket, the glowing blue light illuminated his feature,”Take this. I’m so sorry” he whispered pulling you into his embrace,” Why are apologising, we both wanted to be together in a way” you said,” This situation happened because I was scared of you being targeted and yet here you targets which the enemy knows about” he said pulling away from you, he pressed his lips against your forehead and cupped your cheek while staring into your eyes,”I love you and the children with everything I have”
Link held the rains of the animal which Zelda was riding on with one hand and with the other the torch which helped illuminate the way. His mind was only half their,”Link?” Zelda called out but only got a hmmm in response,” LINK?” she tried again but nothing, she huffed and grabbed a bred roll and aimed it for her friends head,”LINK” she shouted as the bread roll made contact with his head making him stop in his tracks,”What was that for?” he asked as Zelda jumped off the animal,”Your mind is not fully here? What’s worrying you” Link licked his lips,”The Yiga clan knows that I’m the father of Y/N kids, and if the have some sort connection to Ganon he knows too, if he wakes up-” Zelda cuts him off with a hug,” I won’t let that happen Link, the children will be safe. We make sure of it” she smiled letting go of him, Link smiled back weakly,”How far still?”,” We walked-”,”We?” Linked teased,” We’re nearly there, tie it up here, won’t have much space for it” Zelda said before sticking her tongue out and grabbing the torch out of Link’s hand to walk ahead.
Soon red energy started to appear as they walked closer to where Ganon was buried,”I don’t like the look of those” Zelda said eyeing the energy which stretched into darkness,” It looks like Malice”,” Don’t touch it” Zelda hissed seeing Link reach for it. The deeper the walked into the more of them appeared, a distance green glow was also seen, stepping closer and closer until they find themselves in a large room, the streaks of malice which floated in the air all pointed to a slumber muified body in the middle, above his head was spiral of glowing green energy in form of words,” Ganon true form” Zelda whispered as Link stepped closer to her. Link looked closer and saw what seemed to be hand pressing onto the chest, it also seemed to be the source of the green light,”See that hand? It seems to hold the body in place” Link said,” Yeah, he’s sealed a way still. Look at the Jewellery, the Gerudo symbol” she added at the end she wanted to step closer but Link grabbed her wrist and shook his head,” The hand is sealing him away Link and has for thousand of years, we’re safe. The Yiga clan just wanted to scare us” Zelda said and stepped closer anyway, Link had an uneasy feeling build in stomach as he watched Zelda get closer to the corpse. Just as Zelda was only couple of feet away the body began to rumble, the malice surrounding did also, everything actually began to move,”Zelda get away from there” Link said and she did stumbling into Link’s just as the cracking of his body became more intesnse, Link pulled out his sword when he felt a burning sensation on his arm,”Link your arm” Zelda gasped making him look down, the Malice has found it self on his arm burning away on the cloth and his flesh, he placed the sword back when he heard the sound of stones crumbling behind him,” Zelda stay close” he said when everything began shaking intensely, the floor became unstable making Zelda stagger backwards, Link wanted to reach for her but the pain in arm was to intense and in just matter of seconds he saw Zelda slip and fall into Darkness,”NO!” he screamed and dived after hear, ignoring the pain in his arms.
Link found him self back where he started, the animal which he tied up was looking at him curiously, he looked at the entrance and saw that it was blocked offf by stone, he looked down at his arm, black with blood seeping through the torn skin, he pulled his sword out with his other arm and his eyes widened the blade was melted off,”This is not good” he said.
“Mom, Master Link is back” Alec said pulling at your sleeve and pulled out on the balcony, there he was cradling his arm close to his body rushing into the castle,”Stay here, don’t leave the room under any circumstances, the same goes for the balcony” you said closing the balcony doors making your son frown,”Why?”,”Cause I said so” you kissed Laenors head who was playing withe Sheikah egg.
“Link what happened? Where is Zelda?” you asked after finding him in his room, Sidon by side healing his arm,” Ganon awoke, everything went so quick. One second his body was being sealed by this weird green arm with enegry coming out if it and the next Zelda falls into the darkness, my arm....is burned, and the Master Sword-”he said said pulling out the sword making Sidon stop what he was doing,”How is that possible?” you gasped,” Tell everyone to pack their bags, we be evacuating the whole castle and surrounding area” he said making Sidon nod and leave the room,”That goes for you too, pack your bags we heading for Kakariko” he said,” You be leaving? To find Zelda and defeat Ganon”,”I said I will protect you and the children” he said cupping your cheeks, he caressed the skin wit his thump, you pressed your lips against his, the kiss was something you only shared so rarely, the only time you kissed like this was when you made love. “Please be careful Link, I’m begging you” you said against his lips,” I love you so much” he said. Unbeknownst to the two of you Alec was peeping through the crack in the door, a small gasp left his lips seeing the two of you, he softly moved away from the door. Questions flowing through his head which he never thought about before.
Laenor was sitting in front of you while Jace was strapped onto your chest, Alec was holding onto Link’s waist. The ride was silent,”Mom, do we have to leave? I like the Castle more than Kakariko” Laenor said,”Yes, my sweet boy. You have family in Kakariko. Your brother will be the leader soon as well, so it’s good to spend some time there” you said looking down at him. Link gave you a soft look, Jace narrowed his eyes at him,” What does my mom mean to you Master Link?”,Link was taken back at the question,” She’s my friend, a fellow champion, an amazing warrior, someone I’m glad I have in my life” Link said making Jace nod.
Purah greeted you all,”Hey Linky- what happened to your arm?” she gasped seeing Link’s burned arm,”Let’s talk inside” you said, Paya volunteered to look after the children while you and Linked talked to the rest,” So he’s truly awake and he took Zelda? That’s not good, not in the slightest. That explains the more frequent attacks of Bokblins and others on everyone” Impa said,”How’s Priven?” you asked,”Better, all thanks to Sidon, he woke up for a couple of minutes until he fell back asleep” you smiled at Impa,”Linky, your arm looks awful, nothing much we can do about it but we can replace it maybe?”,”Replace?” Link asked,”The glowing hand gave me an idea? You have the Sheikah slate with you right? Let’s travel to my lab and we get started” she said,”Before we go there is another thing” Link said, he pulled out the sword,” The Master Sword” Purah said,” The sword is special yes but so are you Link, go with Purah. Once your fixed we discuss everything further”.
Priven was awake again, he was sitting up and looking out the window when you walked in,”Priven, your awake” you gasped running over to him,”Yeah, everything hurts like hell, but at least I’m alive....I heard everything from up here, it doesn’t look good for Hyrule” he said squeezing your hand,”Link will fix it, he’s the chosen one, he will do it” Priven nodded,”Are the children okay?”,”They’re with your sister. I’m glad your okay....the Yiga clan, did they tell you-”,”That they know I’m not the father, yes, I love our boys, I’m slapping myself for not being able to protect you” he said getting angry with himself,”Don’t, you need to heal. I’m of no use either, that doesn’t make feel great either but we can’t change that, we just need to make sure the boys don’t find out much about what’s happening. They’re to young for all of this” you said making Priven nod.
Link came back late the next day,”That was quick” you smiled bouncing Jace in your arms,”Yes” he held up his arm, it was covered in a dark metal decorated with gold,”Very handsome” you smiled,”It’s linked to the Sheikah slate, so I don’t need to use it physically anymore”,”Wow, Purah did all of that in such a small time” you nodded impressed,”I need to go now” he said making frown and sigh, Link looked at Laenor and Alec who where playing with the other Sheikah children,”Boys, say goodbye to Master Link” you called out,”Where you going Master Link?” Laenor asked giving him a quick hug,” I’m going on another adventure, I would love to take you with me but it’s a dangerous one, I need the two of you take care of each other and your...parents, they’re currently not at full health” Link said ruffling Laenors hair,”Yes sir” he said before running back to his friends. Alec was standing beside you, his head hung low,”Alec, what’s wrong?” Link asked using his index finger to push Jace’s head up,”I will return, I promise” he said softly, Alec nodded softl. Link turned to the sleeping baby in your arms, he gave you a soft look before focusing back on the baby who was slowly waking up. Link pressed his lips gently against the boy’s forehead,” When we meet again, I be a. stranger” he said breaking your heart, you held back tears, not looking into Link’s eyes when his focus was back on you. Alec observed your interaction, even at his young age he could the pain building inside the both of you.
He than mounted Epona, just than Priven walked outside the house with the help of his sister. Link gave him a nod before riding off. Alec looked after his as he vanished between the mountains. You tucked a piece of hair behind his ear,”We be in contact” you smiled rubbing his shoulder,”Is Master Link my father?”Alec asked quietly,” Am I a bastard?” he asked turning to you, your eyes widened and your heartbeat picked up, you looked around to see if anyone heard his question,” Your loved by your family, that’s all that matters” you said rubbing his head gently. You could see he wasn’t happy with that answer but he didn’t dig further,”Let’s go inside, dinner is ready soon”

Sister ended up going to Zora’s Domain first instead of Rito because she was collecting the towers and saw Bazz covered in the sludge (I still feel so bad that I didn’t see him when I went there in my game, I’m so sorry Bazz) and now she’s talked to Sidon and is trying to help by using the splash fruit to clear away some of the sludge around him, and is very sad after actually going to domain and seeing the pollution.
Victory is mine!!!!
Tumblr media
Sidon, we love you. 😭
Sister: “I hate it, it’s so brown. The water is so brown. I hate it.”
Me: “I knowwwwww! The sludge is everywhere!”

Delusional, aren’t you, Love?
Ship: Sidlink
Tw: Yandere, kidnapping, drugging an arrow, gagging, torture.
Summary: Link blames himself for the death of somebody he cared about. Several years later, he falls in love with Sidon, The sibling of his ex-fiancé, and in delusion, takes the young prince, out of fear of losing him.
Requested by @butter-and-too-much-bread
————————————————————————————————————————
Sidon used to think that Hylians were reasonable, intelligent people. Of course, there were moments where he believed Hylia purposely added the stubbornness at his expense, and the Zora often wondered if stubborn Hylians used their brain because they usually, act before they think. Link, his good friend, was proof of the stubborn, didn’t use the brain type of Hylian. He didn’t mind though. He thought these were wonderful Hylian traits.
There was an rare trait, a lesser… known trait of Hylians, one he never knew about, until after Mipha’s death, after Mipha’s Divine Beast Vah Ruta was taken back by Link.
Hylians were… Delusional.
They were wrapped up in fantasies that could, or rather… should, never occur…
It never dawned on Sidon until he was kidnapped one day.
Sidon remembered he was swimming up a waterfall. He landed on dry land and was about to go back down, when an arrow hit his neck.
He could not find the attacker, however after two minutes of searching, Sidon started to feel weak. His vision blurred and his coordination was off. The more minutes went by, the more Sidon started to feel in pain, as he could barely stand. After 10 minutes of fighting it, and trying to make it back to Zora’s domain, he collapsed, darkness taking him as he blacked out.
—————————————————————————
He awoke some time later. Sidon’s eyes were opening, and slowly but surely, his vision returned to him. He realized, he had been kidnapped. This place was a cabin from the inside look. He tried to move but the sound of chains rattled as he struggled.
He may not have known where he was, but he knew one thing; he was nowhere near the Domain.
Sidon froze as he heard the door unlock, heart pounding in his chest.
The kidnapper had come to finish Sidon off.
He closed his eyes in fear, as he heard the door swing open. Sidon heard the door closing, and being locked from the inside. Footsteps were heard walking over to Sidon but then… the sound stopped.
Sidon was nervous, why did the sound stop? It made him nervous great ambivalence, he opened his eyes to see… Link?!
No… No. No! This Had to be a cruel trick of the Yiga Clan. Or this was a very bad dream. It had to be.
“Link?! What’s going on? Why am I tied up?” Sidon asked. Link didn’t answer. Link looked at Sidon with awe. He smiled gently at Sidon before caressing his hand across Sidon’s cheek. Sidon gulped. “Link, look, I don’t-” Sidon was interrupted by Link kissing him.
Sidon glared daggers. He would’ve thought this was a Yiga clan soldier, pulling his leg. Now, here’s the thing: he would recognize a clone from his dear friend, Link, but he was not going to tolerate this from anybody, not even a close friend.
If he was going to be kissed by someone, it was going to be consensual, Goddess dammit.
Sidon bit Link’s lip, which caused the Hylian to stop. Link winced in pain. He seemed annoyed by Sidon’s actions, letting out a sigh that sounded almost… almost as if Sidon, was acting unreasonable.
“Link, this… t-this isn’t right.” Sidon protested as Link walked towards his bag and opened it.
Link reached into his bag and pulled out… a gag? Sidon froze as it was put on him. He screamed but it was stifled. A soft fabric was wrapped around Sidon’s eyes.
“Sidon… you are way too precious for this world. I may have failed to protect Mipha, but I, will not… be led astray… not if it means protecting you.” He said. Link walked over to the chained up Zora with an expression of desire. Not that Sidon could see it.
Sidon felt a searing pain enter his body. He let out a scream that, if not for the gag halting the scream from being heard, would definitely been bloodcurdling to listen to.
An electric arrow was piercing his skin. He felt shaken by fear and in pain. Tears fell down his face. The metal chains made the electric arrow so much worse, as they acted as a conductor for the arrow; he was in agony and he wanted it to end.
He wanted it to stop but…
Something in his gut told him it would not stop, not until Link was done with his ‘precious’ Sidon.
Sidon cried through the ball-like gag. There was a piece of him, that was hoping that Link would snap back to his senses, and let Sidon return home.
His hope died out as quickly as it had formed.
The pain did cease, but only for a short minute or two, Sidon then felt a sharp pain. It felt cold, and harsh. It was an ice arrow.
The cold made him shiver. It hurt how deep it cut. It hurt so badly, it made the prince unwell. Physically. Emotionally.
The pain became too much; Sidon couldn’t stay awake anymore. He passed out.
————————————————————————
Sidon woke up in a state of pain.
He was in agony but he wasn’t chained to a chair. He was in a bed. A long blanket draped over him, it was soft and pleasant.
He looked over his shoulder and froze; the young prince’s eyes widening, not fearful, but rather, he felt taken aback.
Link was next to him. Sidon couldn’t tell what was worse, Link clinging onto him, a grasp firm or… Link shaking.
Wait.
Link was… shaking. Was he cold? Was he sick?
He quickly learned by gazing over at the Hylian that… it was him crying.
“I’m sorry… S-Sidon… I’m so sorry. I hurt you, and I could’ve lost you. I messed up…” Link said, sobbing. His eyes were red from crying. Tears fell down his face like the rain dropped down from the sky did. His cheeks as red as the roses of Hyrule. His body shook with worry and dismay.
He wanted to move closer but then, he saw the chain around his neck. He was unable to notice that the chain around his neck was embedded with several topazes. These would cause the chain to shock Sidon if he tampered with it.
Sidon looked at Link. He wanted to scream at Link, to roar at him with rage but... he knew he might get tortured again. Not wanting to be electrocuted by another electric arrow, Sidon, with very great reluctance, held Link close.
It would hurt, but when you are in love, doesn’t involve a bit of delusion?
————————————————————————
When Sidon was younger, he thought that Hylians were reasonable, intelligent and stubborn people.
Sidon, however learned that sometimes, there were Hylians… whom wanted something that they knew Hylia would never, ever provide them, so they themselves fell in misbelief and try to make their beliefs reality.
And sometimes…
It was better to feed in that delusion.

The Royal Guard’s Secret Ch. 24 (A SidLink Omegaverse Story)
Chapter 24 :Treaty
Sidon kept his shoulders squared as he sat at the table with Link. His own father, sister, as well as Zelda, Urbosa, and the king were settled around the table as well.
Zelda looked comforatable and content, even holding onto Urbosa's hand despite the king having sat right near them at the head of the table.
The king had called a meeting for them to all come, having tea and some sandwhichs and snacks set out on the table as well to bring down some of the tension.
His father however was still bitter, making sure he put his large frame between the king but his own children and Link.
He wasn't sure if it was because he actually cared for Link or that he was protecting the heir to the Zoran throne.
Either way though for now Sidon was grateful for the added security to his mate.
Link was nervous next to him, the heavy cirlces under his eyes and his arms wrapped around himself to hide and to protect his bump.
He was tired and he was nervous but he did his best to put a strong front on in front of his step father for the time being.
He didn't know what Zelda had done. All he knew that was that things were not in his favor as far as he knew.
Link even felt jealous with how hoped. Why couldn't he be like that? Why couldn't he not have a worry in the world when his life had been nothing but stressful.
“Easy Link,” Sdon whispered, thinking a moment but then reached to rest his hand on Link's. The blonde looked up at him and then let out a breath that he hadn't even known he had been holding until now. They knew of their relationship. He shouldn't have to hide it.
Plus Sidon was there to protect him. It was odd knowing he could rely on someone else. He was used to being alone, not being able to rely on others for help until Sidon came into his life.
“I'm sorry,” he whispered, taking the food that Sdion had offered to him. He mumbled a small thank you and bite into it. He needed to feed their baby.
Finally the king felt the silence had gone on long enough, wanting to address everyone instead of them staying in their own little conversations.
“You all must be wondering why I had asked you here today,” Roham has said as he stood up at the head of the table. “First I want to thank all of you for coming.”
The small conversations died down and all eyes turned to the king. Link tensed, shifting a bit where Sidon was able to sit closer to him.
The prince rest his hand on Link's shoulder to give him some comfort but also to ground him. That one moment when Link's truth had come to light he had been so stressed Sidon had been afraid for his well being and their little baby.
Getting no response from that King Roham continued. “Now that the formalities are out of the way I think we should discuss the situation at hand. The original plan King Dorephan and I had was to have my daughter Princess Zelda, and his son Prince Sidon, to wed to bring peace with our kingdoms.”
“We all know the original plan Roham,” Dorephan said from his seat. “We need to bring up the...new developments that have occurred.”
“Yes,” the other king said, the tension starting to form. Link swallowed, watching the two. These men were not getting along but being civil together.
He hoped that civility remained and a fight wouldn't be brought. If that happened what side would he be brought on?
“In a terrible turn of events of my formar advisor, Link had been put through terrible things, your daughter and son as well, to which you have my sincerest apology.”
Dorephan was silent next to him and it took Mipha nudging him a bit to at least nod is head to acknowledge his words.
“Partially because of these events we have....” the king said and then he let out a breath. “We have two blessings upon us.”
Link's eyes widened as his eyes went to Zelda. She flushed and rubbed her stomach, nodding her head a bit.
Dorephan looked down at his son and he quickly shook his head. No, he was not the father of the other child.
Seeing this Zelda rose from her seat and smiled to them all.
“I had spoken with father about it but I am with child. The sire is Urbosa, my trusted guard,” she said. “And I intend on having this baby and raising them as the next heir to the throne.”
With those words said she settled down back on her chair again and Link looked to the king. Well now he wasn't sure what was going on. He had seemed so angry about Link being with child but he didn't look any different now that Zelda spoke so freely of it.
Jealousy burned through him and he felt his breathing quicken as he scowled. Noting the sudden bitter smell next to him Sidon rubbed Link's shoulder.
He knew he was upset. Zelda got everything she wanted. Zelda was never punished for anything. Link was the one taking the fall for everything.
Link clenched his fists under the table and turned his attention back to the king.
“That being said this is where we need to discuss things. The fate of these children hangs in the balance when it comes to the final descision,” Roham continued.
“What do you mean fate Roham? You're not telling me that you're looking to rid them of their children some way are you?” Dorephan spoke up. “If that is the case any indication of this treaty working will be over. Even if Link is not royality, he still carries the heir to the Zoran throne inside of him. I will not have you take the child away.”
“Father..., Sidon said with a small smile on his face. “Thank you.”
Dorephan nodded but never took his eyes off of Roham. “Any harm that could come to Link from your actions can be taken as a declaration of breaking any peace.”
“And that is what I'm trying to prevent,” Roham stated firmly. His eyes finally went to Link and the blonde tensed, feeling the urge to flee brewing again.
“While you are not my biological son, I still consider you my son. I apologize for it taking me so long to get to this,” Roham said. Link shook a bit but nodded his head.
What was going on? He was being so nice to him now? Call him parinoid but after everything he had been through he wasn't surprised at this point.
“I will officially be stating here and now that you are a Prince of our kingdom, but the next choice is up to you,” Roham continued. “You may stay here but as a prince and be able to raise your child here, even taing the throne should Zelda not want it, or you can return to Zora's Domain.”
His eyes widened. This was the deciding factor?
“If he comes to the Domain with us but as a prince, does this mean that the treaty is settled and we will be at peace?” Mipha asked from her seat.
The two kings looked to one another, debating about what they would say or who would speak first. Dorephan was the first to break the silence.
“That is what I would take as a treaty but I would like to know who is to be held responsible for what happened to my children under your watch,” Dorephan stated. “They both nearly lost their lives by the hands of that man.”
Roham took his seat and claspsed his hands in front of him on the table in thought. “We have apprehended the man who has done those things to your children. I do find it seeing fit that you determine what his punishment will me. Would that be sufficient?”
“I suppose. But Link needs to to weigh in as well of what is to happened to this man. He was the one who suffered the most,” Dorephan agreed.
All eyes went to Link and he swallowed. He was getting such whip last he wasn't sure what to do. Not long ago he had been panicking he would lose himself and his child, as well as seeing Sidon possibly going to the dungeons.
Now here he was decinding the fate of Ganondorf and deciding the fates of the kingdoms. He wasn't sure what to do. He wanted to see Ganondorf brought to justice but if what he chose would that be enough to satisfy Dorephan to keep the treaty in place?
Noting that all the pressure was falling on Link's shoulders Sidon rose up from his seat and rest his hands on his lover's shoulders.
“I think you should give him time to consider his options right now. This is a lot to put on one person,” Sidon said. He'd protect his omega no matter what.
“I have to agree,” Mipha asaid as she rose up too. “I know you want Link to choose the fate of the man who had harmed us all, but what if his choice does not sit with you and you change your mind about everything?”
“You make a fair point Mipha,” Dorephan said. “Spoken like a true leader. My selfishness should not be the thing that weighs in the most.” “Perhaps it should be decided on a vote,” Urbosa chimed in. “Whatever is the unanimous vote will be the deciding factor.”
“Who gets to vote?” Zelda asked her alpha next to her. “Should it be all of us here at the table or say just Link, Sidon, and Mipha? They were the ones affected the most.”
“That may be true, but that man was willing to use whatever information against myself and I'm sure against King Dorephan as well. Everyone here in some way is affected, though there are three that have been affected much more,” Roham added in.
“I agree with the king,” Dorephan said and looked down at his son to gather what he would want to do in this situation. “This affected the three of you the most. What do you say?”
Sidon gazed down at Link who was trembling a bit as he looked around the table at the others. Mipha took a deep breath and gave a nod.
“That does sound fair,” she said.
“Then let us put it to the vote,” Roham said. “Those in favor of seeking the ultimate penalty of his life say aye, and those who wish to have him serve his punishment by others means say nay.”
“Aye,” both kings declared.
“Aye,” Zelda and Urbosa said after a moment of silent contemplation as they looked at one another. It did surprise Link a little with that.
“Aye,” Sidon stated firmly. Sidon wanted justice for his mate, even more than himself even when he had been run through with a sword. “That man needs to be brought to justice and no amount of another punisment will be enough for me.”
“Doesn't really matter what Mipha and I pick now is it,” Link said with a half hearted laugh. Mipha shrugged a little.
“I was going to say Nay...only because I'm tired of the violence ..” she admitted. “But I see my brother's point.”
“Link, what was your verdict?” Sidon asked softly. Link looked up at him and closed his eyes for a few seconds.
“I suppose to be truthful I would have said nay,” Link admitted. “I agree that I did want him to suffer as much as I had but there is no way to do that. So in the end...”
All the eyes were on him again but he only kept his eyes on Sidon. He would only focus on Sidon right now to keep himself from freaking out.
“In the end I choose Aye,” Link said, finally pulling his gaze from his mate and rest his hand on one of the ones on his shoulders. “I agree with Sidon that there is no other punishment capable of meeting just how much pain he had caused all of us.”
“Then is it decided,” Roham had stated and stood as he held a hand out to Dorephan. “Does the treaty stand?”
Dorephan looked at his hand and then shook it.
“The treaty stands.”

I don’t think enough people talk about how young Link is (in botw is what I’m mainly focusing on because there are some games where he’s literally 5 and then there are some games where he’s 35 and has a part-time job and a bachelors degree in economics) because he is very young. He’s 17, i think, which is an adult but definitely young when you take into account that he is destined to save the world. I’m sorry but 17-year-old couldn’t even handle the stress of his APChem homework let alone saving the world.  Like, math homework is stressful, book reports are stressful, midterms are stressful, fighting a battle against a pig demon 120x your size with nothing but a magic sword, a bird, a big lady with sparkle fingers, a rock guy, a shark, and the supposed-to-be magical descendant of a goddess is mentally scarring. If you think about this enough, which I have...Clearly, it gets to the point where you realize this poor little guy is falling apart at the seams.
Not only did he go through all of that stress but then, after almost dying and being comatose for a hundred years, he’s thrust into a world he knows nothing of where everyone but a shark guy and a community of talking root vegetables wish he had died during that fight  which he still isn’t sure he actually fought in until, of course, you realize that he would be remembering the nitty gritty of the fight (because there are memories of the fight but those are mostly with Zelda, think of what he remembers without her or any of the champions) and it keeps him awake at night.
Which brings us to the fact that Link is entirely and completely alone on this journey with no one to talk to because, yes, fanfiction that’s slightly canon divergent likes to have this sweet little thought that Zelda is there or, maybe sometimes, the Champions are there or Sidon comes along but No. In the actual game he’s alone. He has nobody on his entire jounrey throughout Hyrule he has no one to talk to, cling to when he cries, to bring him out of panic attacks, he has nobody. Yeah, he’s got Impa and Purah and Robbie, Sidon, Riju, Yunobo, Teba, he’s got all of them but when you think about all the responsibilities he has, all the things he has to do and fights he has to win, he can’t go and visit them. So he’s alone for the months, years, who knows how long, riding across Hyrule fighting Lynels and Hinoxes and Guardians all up until the final boss fight where he as to fight the pig demon again and then, after he wins if he wins, then what? Hyrule is still a desolate wasteland, all of his friends and family are still dead. I guess he could start all over but how can he start a new life when he can’t even remember his past one? How can he rebuild his home if he doesn’t even feel at home when he touches the vine covered ruins of Hyrule? He diesn’t feel the least bit wistful nor determined to fix things because ho can he when all he feels is hollow????
All of this! ALL OF THIS! Would be horrific to experience as an adult now you have to multiply that buy google plex to get how horriffying that is for a child. Can botw2 be the last loz game please? My baby needs some rest. Or maybe we could compromise and he could have a sweet game where he and Zelda run around and take pictures of flowers with the Sheikah slate and Link HIYAH’s down a forest and builds them a log cabin where they sit and knit scarves.

Hi I’m the anon that asked for Mipha pegging Link. OH MY GOD!! That was so good!! I was blushing so hard reading that!!!
I’m curious now tho. Is Link and Kohga the only ones that knows about Mipha’s Dom side? Cause if so, I’d love to read about the other champions finding out somehow and being shocked while Kohga laughs in the background!!
Cute idea, let's go.
"You're kidding."
"I'm NOT! Red dildo and everything! I HELPED her buy it!"
The champions had joined Kohga for lunch, and he had JUST told them about Mipha and Link's supposed endevour. Daruk scratched at his head, not too sure.
"Little Mipha? Doing THAT? Girl was BARELY able to talk to Link. How can she do THAT?"
Revali scoffed, simultaneously picking out pieces of banana from his fruit salad.
"Kohga is lying. Sooga would agree to ANYTHING you said, you'd do anything for attention, Mipha wouldn't admit it even if it WAS true, and Link doesn't TALK. I'm sorry your life is so boring, you have to make these fictional situations."
"You know what IS fiction? You getting your bird ass out of that closet for once in your life. Acting like you straight passing."
Urbosa had to clear her throat to keep them from starting another fight.
"Regardless. We should know about this. While it isn't our business, sexual health is a concern of mine. So, if Kohga IS telling the truth, we need to approach this tactfully."
Dark looked at his empty cup, before shrugging.
"I mean...doesn't Sidon get her mail? We could ask him?"
Revali rubbed his forehead.
"Yes, let's ask her baby brother. 'Hey Sidon? Does your sister peg her boyfriend with a giant red dildo? Also what'd you have for lunch?' Genius, Daruk."
Kohga smacked his shoulder, wounding Revali's massive pride.
"Hey, least HE'S giving me the benefit of the doubt. You're just always against me here."
A whole different fight was about to start, when Daruk's slate started to go off. He picked it up, and on the screen, came Mipha. Daruk grinned, giving her a wave.
"Mipha! We were just talkin' about ya! Where are you?"
"Sorry, Link had some issues getting ready, it's a bit of a story. But, we should be on our way to join you momentarily! Do tell Kohga I apologize, he didn't pick up when I called."
"Can do, little fish! See you when we see you!"
Daruk waited for Mipha to hang up (he felt rude being the one to do it), only. She didn’t. She thought she did, setting her slate aside in order to help Link fix his clothes.
"Link, do behave while we're out. Don't look at me like that, you know what I mean. Look, have some table manners, won't you?"
She wrapped her arms around his neck, fiddling with his pretty blonde hair.
"I'm just saying, leave some food for them, for once. Poor Revali never gets any dessert thanks to you."
Urbosa looked over, about to tell Mipha that the slate was still on, when it...happened. She grabbed a handful of his hair, and pulled. And when his head tossed itself back, she leaned in to nibble at his precious chin.
"If you're good, I'll give you exactly what you want. I know you miss it. You remember the rule, yes? Good boys get to have cock inside their tight little-"
"WHAT THE S H I T MIPHA."
Revali stared at the screen, mouth open. Mipha turned to the slate, seeing Revali gawk, Daruk surprised, and Urbosa looking rather impressed. Kohga smacked the table, before pointing at Revali and laughing.
"I TOLD YOU. I TOLD YOU. EAT SHIT."
Mipha hastily pushed Link away, grabbing the slate in a panic.
"I'm SO sorry, I can explain-"
"What? Good on little guy, real men get pegged."
Daruk gave a thumbs up, and Mipha looked in horror as Link returned it, a big, dopey smile on his face as he did so. Urbosa finished off her drink, nodding.
"You ever need advice Mipha, I'm available, me and Daruk are familiar with this."
Revali threw his hands up in the air.
"YOU AND DARUK- HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE TAKING IT UP THE ASS??"
"Everyone but you, Revali, everyone but you."

Hello friend! Long time no talk! Sorry about that.
Glad to see you're playing botw. You can see baby Sidon in a flash back in Zora Domain.
Hi! Glad to hear from you again. As I said to that anon earlier, I’m not sure I’ll survive seeing baby Sidon ‘for real’ in game, and not in condensed gif format on Tumblr... My heart just won’t take it!
I reclaimed the last divine beast today, so technically I could go save Zelda now, but... I’ve still got a billion side quests to do first, and no self-respecting Skyrim player would let a bunch of side quests slide in order to take on the main quest...
Favourite side quest recommendations always welcome :)

A Growing Family - Bazz x reader
Tumblr media
“Swinging back with another one- once again you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to! But whatever about Bazz and/or Sidon becoming fathers? Like if they got y/n pregnant? (I’m sorry I saw baby cribs in Target and I am FIGHTING the baby fever!)” - @rocklover719
target is a magical place, and i will always drop money on something i don’t need when i go in (except starbucks, because i work at a retail starbucks store and don’t want to spend money on something i can get for free lolll). but if i EVER find myself in the baby section, my boyfriend will say “no!” and drag me away. the baby fever is SO real right now, and i’m kinda glad i’m not alone in this :’)
i’ve written one for Sidon already, which you can find here! i actually forgot to add it to my masterlist (which i have since fixed), so i’m glad i caught it when you sent this request!! but i ABSOLUTELY had write one for Bazz! i hope you enjoy <3
(p.s.: sidon’s is really short compared to this, so maybe i should revisit it??)
i’ve tried to write this one as gender-neutral as possible, so everyone can enjoy, but that baby had to happen somehow, so it’s more female aligned.
y/n - your name
you found out you were bringing life into the world
you were excited
but also scared
you told Bazz over dinner
and it was nerve-racking
he almost choked on some hearty salmon when you did
“Wait, what?!”
he was overfilled with excitement to be starting a family with you
but he was also… extremely nervous
the both of you waited a few days to tell Seggin
and once you did, it finally set in
you were going to be parents
once you gave the okay, Bazz told the members of the guard
and they all congratulated you both
and though 9 months is a long time
he was already making plans of who to leave in charge when the baby is born
ultimately, he chose Sidon, though he wasn’t really a part of the Zora Guard
Sidon was more than happy to be adding on this duty to his princely responsibilities
and he was ECSTATIC that you two were becoming parents
“This is SO exciting! I’m so happy for you both!”
Bazz does so much research
he’s reading books on parenting
and he asks all the parents for tips
he even goes to the children and asks what they like to do with their parents
just so he knows that his child will be having fun
he’s a nervous wreck honestly
and he’s trying to keep calm for your sake
because you getting too stressed could be a dangerous thing
after a few months, your morning sickness kicks in
and Bazz is a mess
he hates seeing you feeling so terrible
and once your mood swings set in, he’s sure to help in anyway he can
he’s so supportive
and he knows exactly how to make you feel better when your mood swings hit hard
he decided to take leave about 2 weeks before your due date
just incase
and when you go into labor, he starts freaking out
he’s frantic
and so so scared
and you absolutely have to calm him down
“Bazz, I can promise you everything will be fine.”
he’s by your side the entire time
and he’s so good at keeping your mood up
but eventually you get scared
“Y/n, you can do this! You can do it! We’re gonna have a baby today!”
the moment you give birth, Bazz is SOBBING
he’s so so proud of you
and he’s falling in love all over again with not only you
but also your child
the moment he holds them, he’s awestruck
“We made this!”
he’s so on top of taking care of you and the baby
and after watching you go through so much in the span of 9-10 months, he just wants you to rest and take it easy
when he goes back to work, he’ll sometimes take the baby so you can relax
but only if he’s overseeing his guard members and giving them their tasks
and he’d making sure the Zora Guard members aren’t being too loud when he ends up bringing the baby
“Guys, I’m so sorry, but could you please keep it down? The baby is sleeping.”
Bazz tells TONS of stories to your child
and even if they can’t understand them yet
watching Bazz with the baby makes your heart melt
he can’t wait to watch your child grow up
though neither of you want that just yet
but he’s so glad to be on this journey with you
and he’s so happy to see his little family growing

I was thinking of a jealous s/o over a close friend of Revali or Sidon (maybe both of them ??)
BWAHAHAHAH!! I’m sorry, but I can easily see how both of these lovable dorks just make the situation worse.
Revali:
Lol, I see Revali with two types of friends: The sharp tongued ones, and the admirers
You had a hard time with one of the admirers
Revali assures you that they were only a friend
But, did they have to cling onto his wings like that?
Being a Champion, it was normal for people to admire your Rito, so this type of thing shouldn't bother you
However, Revali seemed to especially revel in his friends flattery
Sure you were proud of him, but you knew better than to over-feed his ego
(His head was big enough as it is)
But watching him take pleasure in his friends praising, doubts began seeping into your thoughts.
Does Revali prefer that kind of behaviour? Perhaps, he wasn’t satisfied with your support as a partner?
(Oh hello insecurities, where’d you come from?)
For the next two weeks, you shower your boyfriend in endless praise, even playing up your reactions to his boasting achievements
You’re acting sweeter than a Disney Christmas special
And it was really freaking Revali out
(Yeah, looks like your plan backfired)
He has no clue what caused your sudden change, but doesn’t like it
He wants a refund
Eventually, you’re confronted about your 180* turn in demeanour
But it wasn’t by Revali
It was his friend
They noticed the tension whenever the three of you were together, and Revali isn’t friends with an idiot
They connect the dots pretty quick, and decided to step in before things got out of hand
(’steal yo man’ cliché dodge)
They quickly explain that their friendship with Revali took on a more ‘student and mentor’ dynamic. No romantic feelings from either side
Plus, while they certainly idolized him, they’d rather be slow roasted over a fire then date him
(Honestly? They want to give you a medal for handling with his more.....challenging moments)
However, they do insist that you talk about this with Revali
(PSA: Communication is key for any relationship)
After enduring one his smug speeches (Well, I can hardly fault you for your envy Y/N. After all, I AM quite the catch.) He does what he can to help quell your worries
Makes more time for you between training, spontaneous dinners and your personal favourite, impromptu cuddling
You and his friend even wind up becoming besties
They have a lot of tea on your boyfriend >:)
Sidon
Oh sweet baby fishcakes
This guy is like a giant teddy bear with scales
(and abs *swoon*)
Combined with his naturally friendly personality, who could resist loving this Zora prince? (Not you, obviously)
So why did it bug you so much to see him around his childhood friend?
Maybe it was the knowledge that they’ve been together since hatchlings, or that you would always find them being physically affectionate (by that I just mean they hugged or held hands, tame stuff)
They were also stunning, with an athletes physique and scales that practically shined under the sun
A nasty voice in your head noted how they would look good with Sidon
(Shut up brain, no one asked you)
The two of them were also swimming buddies
Now, Sidon was undoubtedly loyalty to you
Shark babe would go live in the desert before he’d even think about being unfaithful
(Please don't ever let him try though, poor baby needs his water)
But that doesn't stop your worries, that his friend might be looking for more than friendship
Oh Hylia, what if they went swimming, when they actually wanted to go ~swimming~
(Congrats, you’ve officially belly flopped into the river of paranoia)
One great thing about Sidon, is his sensitivity.
It gives him a knack for sensing others emotions
,As his s/o, this goes double for you. So it doesn’t take long for him to pick up your unease
(He could give Revali some lessons)
He sits you down somewhere private and softly. inquires about what’s troubling you
Try to deny those puppy shark eyes of his, I dare you
All of the fish cuddles after you tell him
“Oh my darling, you have nothing to worry” He wraps you into an embrace. “They are merely a friend, we see each other as siblings”
You figured as much, but hearing him say so out loud finally put you at ease
“Besides,” He caresses your cheek in his palm “not even an angel could tear my eyes from the Goddess in front of me.”
(Pft. Wow Sidon that was so cheesy)
(No wait, that doesn't mean I wantyoutostopcomeBACK-)
After some shark cuddles, Sidon decides to let you in on a little secret regarding his friend
It turns out their affections were already reserved for a certain Goron
Looks like Yunobo has a secret admirer
(He’s been wondering who was sending him those rock cakes)

I JUST FINISHED MIPHA’S SHRINE AND-
AHHHHHHHHHHH
Baby Sidon and Big Sis Mipha 😭😭😭 My heart. I’m crying. I love them so much. How are they so precious.
Tumblr media
These shark siblings own my soul now sorry I don’t make the rules. I am invested in them. AGH.
Her telling him to take care of the kingdom when she goes after Ruta, and baby Sidon making a little horrified gasp at the idea she might not come back, but then flashing that beaming smile of his when Mipha continues to teach him how to swim up the waterfalls like I can’t-
Tumblr media
Please excuse me as I continue to sob in the corner.

AAAAAA! New side blog! Hi! I love the two new fic that came out. They were amazing!!! My crops have been watered and are thriving. But, it did make me curious about the other links. It was mentioned that Two is fifteen and Odyssey (I wonder what game he's from) and Wild are also part of a couple group (is that the right wording??? I'm sorry). Is there anything you can share about the other links that isn't spoiler-y? I'd love to hear more about them! (0w0).
ÒWÓ HELLO!!
SOSOSOSOSO hiya, i'm poly myself, so i'm gonna scream about my poly babies. Mizu greatly indulges me and lets me do whatever tf i want in this aspect so let's fuckin GOOOOOOOOO
to start, about Odyssey and Wild!! i mentioned Odyssey only once here, along w some others, but he's an OC!! vdlvndsl need to make some new art of him to post bUT that's later.
they're both ~polyamorous~ which, along with Legend and Wars, means they're okay with dating multiple people, committed relationship style (not to be confused with an open relationship, which Wild does, but he's the only one). ppl in a poly (or sometimes called polyam) relationship are called a polycule and that term has come up in a couple different asks, but it encompasses any kind of reletionship dynamic. are they all dating each other? do only some people share a partner? it just depends on the person! but they all fall in that term. if you have three people all dating each other, some people call that a triad (which Odyssey has with his Ganondorf and Zelda). any higher number of ppl gets a little weird with names imo, so 4+ people i usually just say polycule.
Wild's polycule has 4 people and they aaaaaaare....
*drumroll*
his Zelda (Flora), Paya, and Sidon!!!
bc i liked all those ships and went "why tf not just throw them together and be poly" so that's what i did. that's also exactly what happened when Mizu and I started considering Legend/Warriors asbvsjkmdsm bc we'd already had Legend/Marin/Ravio as a triad and Wars/Nadea as a couple, so we just squished them together and called it a day.
and let's see, another Link to talk about......
AH!!! ANOTHER POLY MF THAT LEG AND WARS DON'T KNOW ABOUT YET (at the time of Grace Period, OR he just isn't there atm so Legend didn't mention him, either works until we get the timeline sorted)
so idk when his story will be incorporated, but Champion. my lovely boi is from hw:aoc OR SOMETHING bc we're throwing part of aoc canon out bc it frustrates me. but anyway, Champion is Wild but he never died in the initial onslaught of guardians during the calamity and thus didn't have to get put in the shrine of resurrection. so, like aoc, they ended the war fairly quickly and not everyone died. we'll definitely go over his story more in the future, but not knowing how much of his adventure will be included atm, i'm just gonna talk about his partners real fast!!
Champion is dating his Zelda (we call her Scholar, she's Flora's counterpart), Mipha, and a Ganondorf we call Scout! not gonna spill anything about him yet since his story is tied really tightly with Champ's, but it'll come in due time. I can say he was raised Sheikah tho.... an interesting boye.
thanks for letting me screm! hope u enjoyed!!!!

Hello everyone! I have written a version of the Champions’ Ballad but with a Miphvali twist. I hope you enjoy this version of the Champions’ Ballad!
Today was a day of celebration, a day of hope for all of Hyrule as those who had been chosen to defend the kingdom against Calamity Ganon would be gathering to be honored by the King himself.
He had summoned the four Chosen Ones to officially appoint them not only as the Champions of Hyrule but also publicly recognize them as the pilots of the four Divine Beasts.
It was a show of triumph and that even against their greatest enemy, they would prevail and win the war.
At least, that’s what was written in the summons that the Royal Messengers had delivered to Revali, Mipha, Urbosa, and Daruk all across the land.
Mipha, Urbosa, and Daruk had accepted the summons graciously and immediately began making preparations to travel to Central Hyrule for the inauguration ceremony.
Revali, however, had rolled his eyes and dismissed the Messenger with a halfhearted promise he would attend.
Which was true, he would attend, though he wasn’t exactly thrilled to be presented and paraded like a trophy in front of so many, especially to a King who he barely felt loyalty to, and when he could be training instead.
Nevertheless, Revali had soon finished packing what sparse materials he would need for traveling to survive this short trip, triple-checked there were enough arrows in his quiver, and flew off from his peaceful home in the mountains towards Central Hyrule, with a small group of Rito Warriors in tow to represent the village alongside him.
It had taken only about half the day for Revali to reach Hyrule Castle with only a few breaks from flying to eat to regain energy while resting his wings.
The area around it was mainly flat open plains with some forests, as well as scattered Hylian settlements and stables.
However, the roads that snaked throughout the entirety of the region were packed with travelers, either on foot or by cart, though Revali felt he would be ill just by the sheer amount of people there were.
He could also see those from other races arriving as well as he approached Hyrule Castle.
Gorons were rolling in from the direction of Death Mountain and Eldin, with Daruk in the lead standing out with his rather large beard and boisterous laughter.
The Gerudo arrived on horseback from what Revali could assume was the direction of the desert, Urbosa riding in front, the spokes of her golden headdress sparkling in the sun, signifying her position as Chief of the Gerudo.
Finally, there were the Zora, arriving from the waters of the rivers surrounding Central Hyrule, and even though Revali had sharp eyesight, he could still barely make out Mipha standing tall, her elaborate jewelry shining in the sunlight as she led her people to Hyrule Castle.
It had seemed that the other three had been chosen and invited to the Castle as well, though it did not surprise Revali in the least. He had suspected for some time now that the King would do something to honor them as Pilots of the Divine Beasts, but this whole gathering was certainly over the top from what he could tell.
Mipha looked above from where she was walking to see Revali and a small group of Rito following behind them, though she could recognize him anywhere with his navy blue plumage. It stood out quite nicely from the more muted browns of his countrymen against the clear pale blue sky.
She thought back to her home, Zora’s Domain, where her father and younger brother had decided to stay behind to keep watch over the Domain, instead sending along a small entourage of Zora to accompany her to Hyrule Castle.
How she missed Sidon’s chubby red cheeks and the way he wandered about, his head-tail that was much too long for his small body trailing behind him.
She giggled at the thought of her little brother trying to figure out where she had gone, as she had come to find out that whenever she was away he ran around the Domain asking anyone who would listen where his big sister had gone.
Of course, any Zora would listen to their baby Prince, even if he hadn’t been royalty, and would stall him long enough so that a Guard could come to retrieve him and take him back to King Dorephan.
While it pained Mipha to be away from home for so long so often, it was necessary to ensure the safety of her people by working together with the Pilots to drive back Calamity Ganon’s forces, though her true duty had yet to be fulfilled.
“Good afternoon, Princess.”
Mipha looked up to see that Revali and the Rito accompanying him had landed next to the Zora marching in place and joined in with them.
Revali fell into step beside her, his armor reflecting the sunlight much like Mipha’s jewelry was, though her jewelry sent little beams of light across the grass.
“Oh, Revali, how lovely to see you again! I trust that your journey went well?” Mipha asked, and Revali shrugged nonchalantly as though journeying halfway across the kingdom was a breeze for him.
She supposed it most likely was a breeze for him, as he could fly through the sky instead of traveling by foot like the Gerudo or the Gorons had done.
“Oh, it was quite uneventful, nothing much occurred besides perhaps being shot at by a few Bokoblins, but nothing major.” He said airily, though the way his tone sounded so confident meant that Mipha couldn’t help but believe him.
“That is wonderful! We luckily did not have many problems either, though the amount of monsters we have had attack the Domain is becoming quite worrisome. I do hope my people will be alright whilst I’m here.”
The atmosphere suddenly felt quite gloomy, though Revali could understand her worry. He had believed Rito Village was under attack once again when they had first met, after all.
“Have some faith in your warriors, Princess. I am sure they will protect your home well. That is why they were chosen, correct?” He asked, and Mipha nodded, though it did little to ease her worry.
“I will try. I can only hope the Princess will allow us to return home for a few days before we are sent out on our next mission.” She said wistfully, and Revali could sense that she missed being home very much, which he could relate to. He was never home much to begin with, but leaving his Flight Range hurt every time he did so.
The two continued to walk in silence after that, the only sounds were the murmurs of conversation between the Zora and the Rito amongst themselves, and the march of their feet against the ground.
They soon arrived at the metal gates of Hyrule Castle, the sunlight reflecting off the glass and iron that made up the two large doors.
Two guards stood at attention, though by the looks of it they were low-ranking as they wore the standard Royal Knight armor.
Mipha couldn’t help but feel sorry for them. The armor was made from heavy yet defensive metals and the helmets they wore were much too large to the point where they could not see very well or move around as nimbly as they should have been able to.
Revali felt much the same way, though based on what the Princess had told them, these guards were meant more for charging through enemy ranks with brute force than actual strategic combat, so their armor was much appropriate than what the King’s Personal Guards wore.
“Halt! State your names and titles!” The taller of the two guards ordered, causing Mipha and Revali to glance at each other before Mipha politely cleared her throat.
“I am Lady Mipha of the Zora, a member of the Zora Royal Family and Pilot of the Divine Beast Vah Ruta.” She said confidently, giving Revali the feeling that she had gone through this process many times before, though he straightened his back and puffed out his chest proudly.
“I am Master Revali of the Rito, Chief Commander of the Rito Guard and Pilot of the Divine Beast Vah Medoh.” He declared, causing Mipha to giggle daintily as she pressed a hand to her mouth to stifle it, though the guards just seemed confused, but shrugged it off as they saluted to the both of them.
“Welcome to Hyrule Castle, Lady Mipha and Master Revali! Her Majesty is awaiting your arrival in the Sanctum! Open the gates!” The taller guard shouted, and the large metal doors began to slowly open in front of the two, revealing the long, winding stone path in front of them that led to the Castle.
Both the Zora and the Rito glanced at one another as Mipha and Revali began their trek up the stone pathway, and all of them were quite relieved that the large structure of Hyrule Castle blocked the majority of the sunlight that fell upon Central Hyrule.
After a long while, the group finally made out to the Sanctum, all tired out from the long walk, though Revali was also slightly irritated.
At the entrance, Zelda could be seen standing with Link, Urbosa, and Daruk, all having arrived sometime before, though Mipha and Revali noticed the different clothing on all of them.
They had, of course, seen Zelda in her Royal Gown before, as she wore it most days when in the castle. However, the other three had entirely different outfits.
In place of Urbosa’s traditional Chief skirt, she wore a blue skirt with the Vah Naboris emblem, with two decorated belts crossed over one another at the waist, the cloth fastened by a golden clasp with the Gerudo emblem. She had taken off her headdress as well.
One of Daruk’s chains that had crossed over his body was replaced with a blue scarf with Vah Rudania emblazoned on the cloth with white trim at the borders.
Link’s outfit had changed the most drastically, completely abandoning his Hylian Knight armor in favor of beige pants, brown boots, and a blue tunic that matched with Urbosa’s and Daruk’s scarves, and Zelda held two more blue pieces of cloth in her hands.
“Oh, Revali, Mipha, I am so glad you have made it! I apologize for the long walk up here, Urbosa and Daruk were complaining about the same thing when they arrived just a few minutes before. Will you be alright?” She asked, and though Revali wanted to snap at her, her concerned look and the shadows beneath her eyes calmed him down. It wasn’t her fault her home was so large.
“It was no fault of yours, Princess. I would have flown here but I do not trust your guards enough to not blow us out of the sky. Now, what is with all of this blue clothing?” He asked, Zelda breaking into a grim as she held out a scarf to both Mipha and Revali.
“I discovered in ancient texts about the Pilots of the Divine Beasts from 10,000 years that they wore something that signified their bond with their Divine Beast and with one another. As we all serve together for the good of our kingdom, I created these four scarves and Link’s tunic for you all to wear. Perhaps you can wear it for the ceremony?”
The two took their scarves, though Mipha smiled happily when she noticed the Vah Ruta emblem displayed on the cloth, the fabric feeling quite fine in her hands.
“It is lovely, Princess. Thank you. I suppose it is a good thing I decided to wear my special occasion jewelry instead of my royal jewelry. It will go quite nicely with the blue.” She said, fingering the tassels hanging around her neck and sash around her body.
Revali turned the scarf over to see Vah Medoh pictured, a small smile on his face when seeing his trusted mechanical companion. It was as if he could hear its call from Tabantha.
“I agree. You clearly put much effort into this, and I shall wear it proudly. Thank you.”
Everyone looked at him with a surprised look, though he didn’t notice as he examined the scarf more closely.
“Princess, would it be possible for us to change somewhere? I would feel a bit uncomfortable taking off my jewelry and sash in front of all of you.” Mipha asked suddenly, though everyone had to resist the urge to tell her she was basically naked all of the time anyway, though to a Zora it was more practical to be adorned with jewelry than actual clothing.
“Oh, um, you can change behind the pillar over there. No one should be able to see you.” Zelda said as she gestured to the aforementioned pillar. Mipha nodded her thanks and darted behind the stone, careful that she was out of sight.
“Well, I never would have expected to see the both of you showing up together. Did something happen?”
Revali glanced over to see Urbosa smirking at him, her arms crossed under her chest as she looked at him knowingly, giving off an aura of...smugness? That was all he could tell.
“We happened to arrive at the same time to the path before the gate. How did you and Daruk get past us? You were both arriving at the same time we were.” He asked, and Urbosa shrugged.
“Guess you’ll never find out. However, I think you should put on your scarf before the rest of the kingdom arrives, don’t you think?”
Revali grumbled as he wrapped the scarf around his neck, though something he realized was that it was a bit shorter than his beige one, and the Medoh Emblem was positioned in such a way that a more intricate way of wearing the scarf was needed.
Tying a knot would not be difficult under normal circumstances, but as he was tying the knot with a cloth around his neck without a mirror, he couldn’t quite see what he was doing.
“Princess, could you explain why you decided not to give us these garments until we arrived?” He demanded, glaring pointedly at Zelda who could only smile sympathetically in response.
“I apologize, I did not realize that tying your scarf around your neck may have given you a bit of trouble. Perhaps you could allow someone to tie it for you, just this once?” She suggested, but before Revali could respond he heard the soft pad of someone’s feet behind him and turned to see Mipha walking out from behind the pillar she had changed behind.
Suddenly, it felt as if it had become quite difficult for Revali to breathe when he saw Mipha wearing her scarf for the first time.
Her blue scarf had been tied around the front of her torso, held up by a sapphire brooch, the other half of the blue fabric draping over her shoulder against her back. The silver collar around her neck had three small teardrop gems hanging from it, with a second longer one sitting below it, crossing just over her chest.
Her silver belt was still adorned with the same jewels, though her head jewelry had changed so the small gem that once lay on her forehead was gone.
Revali had learned from spending time around Zelda, Mipha, and Urbosa that women who were held in high esteem, such as royalty or as a chief chosen to use a headpiece with a gem inlaid where the wearer’s forehead would be, though why he did not know.
“Uh, Revali? You okay?”
He snapped back to reality to see everyone staring at him worriedly. Well, everyone except Urbosa, who just smiled at him with that oh so infuriating smug expression.
“I’m fine, stop staring at me.” He snapped, everyone turning away except for Mipha, as she reached out to gently take ahold of the scarf around his neck.
“Here, allow me.”
She then began to tie the scarf into a simple knot, though on the outside it looked quite intricate, simple but beautiful.
Her webbed fingers brushed against the metal of his breastplate as she worked, everyone staring at her in wonder while Revali was doing his best not to explode from the close contact. Close contact from her of all people.
“There, that should do it. What do you think?” Mipha asked, stepping back to admire her handiwork, taking all of Revali’s willpower to not pull her back towards him.
“What is wrong with me? I am having such strange thoughts about her, and for what?” He thought to himself, though realizing Mipha was still waiting for a response, he decided to place that train of thought on hold for now.
“It looks wonderful. Thank you, Princess.” He said with a small smile, causing Mipha to beam with pride, the most adorable thing Revali had ever seen.
“It was no problem, Revali. I am glad I was able to assist with your predicament.”
Mipha then went to speak with Zelda about something, presumably where to place her sash that she was holding in her hands to not distract from the ceremony.
“You okay, Revali?”
Revali felt a rather large hand land on his shoulder, as well the low, gravelly voice of its owner, meaning that it was Daruk.
Sure enough, when he turned around to see who it was, it was indeed his Goron teammate, a rather concerned look on his face as Revali grumbled.
“I’m fine. Honestly, why must you all assume I’m not alright for when I don’t speak for an extended moment?”
“Because you are always talking about something. When you’re silent, that’s usually a red flag.”
The two looked up to see that Urbosa had joined them, standing beside Daruk as she left Mipha, Link, and Zelda to speak to one another instead.
“Ugh, what do you want? And I don’t talk all the time.” He grumbled, Urbosa laughing heartily as she placed a hand on her hip, her expression turning serious.
“I’m here because it is quite obvious there is something going on between you and Mipha, and as I am trying to keep the peace of the group so we don’t stress out the princess, you’re going to need to tell me what exactly it is.” She said calmly, making Revali feel as if a parental figure was talking down to him, which he did not appreciate.
“You do not need to speak to me like I am a child, I am fine. Nothing is going on between Mipha and me, I barely know her!” Revali yelled, glaring at Urbosa, though she merely shrugged as she received a questioning look from Zelda, as well as a gesture towards the Sanctum.
“Perhaps we can continue this conversation at a later time. The ceremony is due to start soon, let us head into the Sanctum.”
Urbosa and Daruk walked to join the others, leaving Revali alone as he reluctantly followed them into the rather extravagant chamber.
The Sanctum of Hyrule Castle was where the King and Queen of Hyrule, or rather the King and Princess as the Queen had been gone for over a decade, would make their public appearances with the rest of the kingdom.
The room was circular, with two staircases alongside the back wall that to the King and Queen’s Thrones, where King Rhoam could be seen standing. Lush red carpeting lined the floor, and where there wasn’t carpet was carved stone that matched those that made up the walls, with banners hanging that displayed the Royal Family insignia, the Triforce.
Windows scattered around the chamber allowed in sunlight, though if there hadn’t been a few lanterns to illuminate the room, the Sanctum would have been much darker.
The Zora, Gerudo, Rito, Gorons, and Hylians that had all accompanied each Champion were gathered at the different angles of the room, each leader holding a banner displaying each of their respective emblems.
Revali took his place at the front of the Rito, glancing over to see Mipha hurriedly walking towards her fellow Zora, and he couldn’t help but think that the sunlight reflecting off her jewelry made her look extra beautiful.
“Get ahold of yourself, you’re not here to drool over a Zora whom you barely know.” He thought, though his attention snapped back to the front when King Rhoam cleared his throat, a bit too loud to be on accident. He began what sounded quite obviously to be a prepared speech, though Revali had come to expect that of Hylian royalty. Only Zelda seemed to put true heart into what she had to say.
“Welcome warriors! I’d like to thank you for joining me here today, and for your bravery in accepting this...fateful task. I officially appoint you Hyrule’s Champions, and bestow upon you this sacred garb. That blue is a symbol of the royal family, one that has been passed down for countless generations. Those garments you now wear were all crafted by my daughter, Zelda.”
King Rhoam paused for a moment, his once sweeping gaze landing squarely on his daughter standing in the middle of the Sanctum. Anyone who could see her could notice how nervous she was, the way her fists were slightly clenched as well her almost shaking form. However, she managed a nod in response, remembering the rule of any royal: Do not speak to the king during an address to the public.
“Zelda, I trust you with the task only a daughter of the Royal Family can fulfill. Lead our Champions, Princess. And together, protect our kingdom from the threat of Calamity Ganon!” The King proclaimed, spreading his arms wide as he finished his decree.
Almost everyone in the room cheered, Daruk included, while the rest of the Champions clapped politely and Zelda breathed a large sigh of relief.
She had done it. She had made it through the ceremony without a hitch, she could almost jump in excitement, though she knew a stern look would be directed at her if she had done so.
The Champions surrounded her as King Rhoam left the Sanctum, as well as all of the representatives for each Champion, until the only people who were left were the six of them.
“Well, I’d say that went well, don’t you think, Urbosa?” Daruk asked, and the Gerudo nodded as she patted Zelda on the back, a proud smile upon her face.
“Yes, you did splendid, Little Bird. I’m so proud of you.” Urbosa said to the Princess, and Zelda smiled, tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at the five of them surrounding her.
“No, thank you! It is because of the five of you that Hyrule stands a chance against the greatest threat our kingdom has ever seen, I truly will never be able to thank you enough. Come, I have somewhere to show you.” She said, gesturing for everyone to follow, though Revali lingered for a moment.
“Princess, I may have to return home soon, training and preparations must be done to ensure we will succeed in our battle against Ganon, as you have mentioned before. Perhaps I should go-“
“No, you are not going anywhere.”
Revali looked to see Urbosa glaring at him with a stern expression before it turned to a smile shortly after, though he could sense the malice behind her gaze.
“You wouldn’t want to disrespect our princess after she has graciously invited us here to honor us, would you? There could be dire consequences if you were to do so.” She said sweetly, her hand crackling with the slightest bit of lightning, a thinly veiled threat.
Revali gulped. He had been on the receiving end of Urbosa’s lightning once before, and the experience had been so painful that Mipha immediately had to heal him, her face contorted with worry as she desperately held him close to soothe the white-hot pain coursing through his veins, though he had appreciated being held by her, if even just for a moment.
He groaned before following to join the group, Urbosa giving him a satisfied smile before walking side by side with Zelda, leaving him alone in the back.
Mipha glanced back worriedly at him, trying her best to be discreet, though it didn’t take Revali long to see Mipha’s amber eyes gazing directly at his, causing him to be caught off guard, enough to almost jump.
Why was she staring at him like that? It was so intense, he wondered if she was truly worried about him. He felt slightly guilty for seemingly making her worry, though why she would even be worried in the first place was beyond him.
Mipha noticed him staring at her, causing her to squeak and quickly turn back around, her cheeks warming a little at being caught.
“Why am I so embarrassed? I was simply checking on him from afar, that’s not against the law, is it? Perhaps it’s rude to stare at someone from afar in Rito culture. So much I do not know about him, but how I desire to learn more.” She thought, clasping her hands together in an effort to calm down.
“Alright, here we are.”
The Champions had arrived a little ways from the Sanctum at a gazebo of some sort, just below the tower that housed Zelda’s study.
“Welcome to the Gazebo! I discovered this place not too long ago, the view of Hyrule and the Castle is simply beautiful, it will give you all a chance to rest for a moment before you depart.” She said, and Revali could have flown off if he didn’t know Urbosa would strike him out of the sky.
“Hellooooo, everyone! We’re here!”
Revali groaned. This day was just getting better and better.
Purah and Robbie had arrived from the Royal Ancient Tech Lab a little ways from Hyrule Castle across the Breach of Demise, a now usually monster-infested area, though it appeared the two scientists had made it through unscathed.
“Purah? Robbie? What are you two doing here for?” Zelda asked, and Purah waved her off just as quickly as she pointed towards the Sanctum.
“The King summoned us here to see our progress on the Guardians, though it seems he failed to tell us that the inauguration was today! I mean, that’s why you’re all dressed so nicely, right?” Purah asked, moving her hand around towards the five of them, each time landing on the respective blue garment they were wearing.
Revali had a slight hunch that the King didn’t tell them the inauguration ceremony was earlier that day on purpose. Robbie and Purah were Hyrule’s most respected scientists, that was certain, but their antics tended to get a bit out of hand at times.
However, he did not say anything. He quite liked Robbie and Purah, they didn’t constantly antagonize him as Urbosa did, and his feelings towards them weren’t as...complicated as they were towards Mipha.
Complicated? Was that he was referring to them as? Oh, how he desperately wished he could see inside her head, to see what she truly thought of him. Though, now that he thought about it, it most likely wasn’t any good. He had been quite rude to her friends, his allies, and for what? To impress her? To impress himself?
He could have snorted if he hadn’t noticed Mipha was staring at him once again, but not with worry. It almost seemed like...curiosity?
“Revali?” She asked, Revali not even noticing that Mipha had stepped closer towards him until she was directly in front of him, close enough to touch, but far enough away to not encroach on his space.
“Ah, Mipha. What brings you over here?” He asked, and Mipha giggled as she pointed at Zelda, who now held the Sheikah Slate conveniently received from Purah before she and Robbie rushed off to meet with the King.
“The Princess has the Sheikah Slate in her possession, I’ve noticed that you’ve seemed rather fascinated by it, so I thought you may want to take a closer look.” She said, taking ahold of his wing and gently pulling him after her.
If it had been anyone else, Revali would have batted them away and slunk off to a corner. If it had been anyone else, he would have screamed at them to let him go.
But it was Mipha, and while he did not particularly like being pulled closer to the others, the feeling of her small hand gripping onto his wing felt almost comforting, so he allowed it to slide, just this once.
Zelda was marveling at the Sheikah Slate in awe, though she looked up when she heard the click of talons and the soft pad of someone’s feet to see Mipha and Revali standing in front of her.
“Oh Revali, Mipha, is there something I can help you with?” Zelda asked, and Mipha pointed towards the stone tablet in the princess’s hands.
“Actually, we were wondering if we could examine the Sheikah Slate a little more closely. We don’t have much technology from the ancient civilization except for our Divine Beasts, after all.” Mipha asked, Zelda nodding as she handed the Sheikah Slate to Revali.
The relic was quite small in Revali’s hands, allowing him to hold it between two of his fingers as he examined it.
“Hmph. This is the Sheikah Slate, eh? Doesn’t seem to do much to me.” He remarked, and Zelda sighed.
“It is, though apparently there are more uses for it than we originally thought. Sadly, we’ve yet to decipher all of its secrets.” She said with what sounded like disappointment as Revali handed the Sheikah Slate to Mipha, her barely just catching the artifact in her own hands.
Urbosa leaned down towards Mipha, placing a hand on her hips as an idea popped into her head.
“The princess showed me something strange recently. Somehow it can create true to life images!” She said with a smile, causing Mipha to stare down in wonder at the stone tablet in her hands.
“Oh wow, I would love to see it.”
Mipha turned to see Link and Daruk chatting quite animatedly about something, or rather, Daruk talking about something while Link silently listens.
Mipha had always appreciated that about him, or at least that’s what she could appreciate about him now. When he was younger, he would always talk to her so eagerly about whatever was on his mind without a second thought, whether it be someone he had just bested in a duel or a fascinating bug he had found.
How she missed his childlike wonder, now replaced with a stoic demeanor and no want to draw attention to himself. It was saddening to see her dear friend be so burdened by whatever was on his mind.
That desperation to bring him back to her drove her to almost propose to him, even going so far as to create Zora Armor to seal the engagement, but something in her had told her not to.
That something, she soon later realized, was her curiosity about a specific Rito, namely Revali. He had managed to capture her attention more so than even Link could, though for what reason, she did not know.
Now, she wasn’t quite sure what to think, so the Zora Armor lay abandoned in her room, tucked out of sight until she could sort out things in her mind.
However, an idea popped into her mind, something she had been wanting to suggest that the Champions do for quite a long time, but did not from fear it would take up too much and resources. This was the perfect opportunity.
“Um, Princess, may I ask a special favor of you?” Mipha said, and Zelda looked at her with confusion.
“Of course, what is it?” She asked, and Mipha held out the Sheikah Slate towards Zelda.
“Could we...perhaps take a picture together with the Sheikah Slate? It would be a good way to commemorate us all becoming Champions!” She said, and Zelda took ahold of the Sheikah Slate once again, her mouth widening into a smile as she nodded in agreement, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
“That is a wonderful idea, Mipha! Here, you should all gather by the water to take the photo, and I shall take the photo.” She said, feeling a hand clap on her shoulder to see Purah and Robbie returning from their rendezvous with King Rhoam.
“Nonsense, Princess! I can handle the picture taking, you’re a part of this team as well! Go have fun!”
Purah then pushed her towards the other Champions, or more specifically Link, who caught her with ease in his arms and helped her stand upright once again.
Purah then tapped at the Sheikah Slate until the Camera Rune activated, Robbie standing behind her to make sure she activated it correctly.
“Uh, I think you were supposed to do this...”
“Shush, I know what I’m doing. Ah, there we go!”
Instead of the Sheikah symbol glowing on the screen, it was the five Champions and Zelda instead. Purah smiled in satisfaction as she moved back just a bit to get the framing better, bumping into Robbie in the process.
“Oops, you okay?” She asked, looking at him with the slightest bit of concern, and Robbie was glad that his oversized goggles covered most of the blush that crept onto his face as he nodded hurriedly.
“Yeah, just take the picture.” He mumbled, though Purah only shrugged as she turned back around towards them.
“Alright, this spot should work nicely. Keep your eyes on the Sheikah Slate, everyone!” She called out, as everyone settled into a sort of pose.
Daruk towered over the rest of the group, enough to where Purah couldn’t get him into the frame even if she leaned back far enough, almost falling directly into Robbie once again.
“Um, Daruk, could you crouch down a bit? You’re as big as Death Mountain!” Purah asked, causing Daruk to look around in confusion before realizing how much he towered over the others, so he crouched down just a bit to fit into the frame.
“What’s with the glum face, Princess, gimme a big smile!”
Zelda felt a hand on her shoulder to see Urbosa smiling down at her with such affection. She sighed with sadness, how she missed seeing that expression from her father, or even her mother for that matter.
“I-I apologize. I was not aware I was pulling such a sour expression.” She mumbled, and Urbosa laughed in response.
“It is quite alright, Little Bird. I would be surprised if you weren’t at least a little tired from today’s excitement. I promise that you will be able to rest after we are done, and I will personally speak to the King if he is against it.” She said, and Zelda nodded, a soft smile now upon her face as she turned back towards the viewfinder of the Sheikah Slate.
Revali sighed. Surely it didn’t usually take this long to take one simple picture, did it? He had seen Zelda use the Camera feature a few times before, and it had only taken a few seconds. This was ridiculous.
“Revali, move your tail closer to the group!” Purah yelled, and while Revali was tempted to just ignore her, he didn’t want to look bad in front of Mipha, or worse, be shocked by Urbosa.
“Ugh, fine.” He groaned, ignoring the smug look on Daruk’s face as he shifted closer slightly to Urbosa, wishing he had to move closer to anyone besides her. Being within arm’s reach was never a good thing for her.
“Mipha, you look so tense! Deep breaths, okay?”
“R-right!”
Was something the matter with Mipha? Revali peered around everyone to see her taking in a few deep breaths at Purah’s suggestion, and Revali couldn’t help what happened next.
He smiled. Not a smirk, not a smug look, but a soft smile, a sincere one.
It had been quite a while since he had smiled sincerely about anything, but how could he not? Mipha was positively adorable, her little antics and mannerisms made her look nothing but charming in Revali’s eyes. He felt nothing could ruin it for him until he heard a voice.
“Stay just like that!”
He snapped his head back towards Purah and Robbie, immediately reverting to a frown, hiding any evidence of a smile at all, though the two scientists smirked at one another knowingly.
“Here we go! Smile! Click snap!”
As Purah’s signature phrase left her mouth, Revali felt a rough large hand push him closer towards the others, much too close, and way too forceful.
So forceful that he fell backward onto the ground with everyone else stumbling as he felt someone land on him.
The person who had landed was small, that was for sure, and Revali instinctively felt for who it was, feeling not hair like almost everyone else had but smooth...scales.
“Oh, goddess above!” He thought as he looked to see red, but not like blood. No, it was a head fin, and it shifted upwards until Mipha was staring straight into Revali’s eyes.
Her hands gripped onto his arms in an attempt to steady herself, though she looked just as shocked as he was as she quickly scrambled off of him, her face beginning to turn red.
“Oh my goodness, Revali, I’m so sorry! Are you hurt?” Mipha asked in a panic, hurriedly searching for any signs of a scrape or cut on his body, before she felt two hands grip her shoulders, Revali staring at her with a smirk.
“I’m fine, Princess. You needn’t worry so much, being pushed to the ground is the least of my worries, though I would like to know why someone thought it was a good idea.” He said pointedly as he glared directly at Daruk, who was helping Urbosa to her feet.
“Oh come on, you all looked so tense! I was trying to lighten the mood a little bit, this is a celebration, after all! Besides, how angry can you really get, I was doing you a favor!”
Revali could have exploded with fury at that moment if it was physically possible, and if it wasn’t for the fact he was holding Mipha in his arms, he would have attempted to punch Daruk.
“Don’t ever do that again, I don’t need your help, especially when it involved possibly injuring someone! Mipha could have been hurt if she hadn’t fallen on me!” He yelled, and Urbosa laughed, flipping her hair over her shoulder in an attempt to make it look presentable once again.
“Oh please, you would have caught Mipha even if it meant breaking your arm, she would’ve been fine. Now, why don’t you go get up before Purah and Robbie have any more material to use as blackmail?”
Revali looked over to see Purah happily snapping away, Robbie and her snickering as several clicks were heard in the sudden silence.
“Hey, what do you think you’re doing? Delete those pictures!” Revali yelled, getting up from where he kneeling to chase after Robbie and Purah who had begun running in circles around the Gazebo.
“Not a chance, bird boy! I’ve been dying for something like this to happen!” She said excitedly, laughing as Revali tried and failed to catch her.
Mipha watched them in wonder, the feeling of Revali holding her in his arms still imprinted on her skin as Zelda knelt next to her.
“Mipha, are you alright? You haven’t said a word this entire time!” She asked, and Mipha began to laugh, a genuine laugh to the point where she forgot to hide her teeth, the serrated edges in full view.
Everyone was quite bewildered as Mipha stood, wiping a tear from her eye as she watched Revali continue to chase Purah around the gazebo.
“I am just wonderful, Princess.”

An Accidental Mating Ch. 34 (A Sidlink Omegaverse Story)
Chapter 34 : Save Me
“I'd have to give you credit,” he said to Zelda as she bounced Ephira on her hip and Sidon craddled Tunos against hm. “You would think I would know how to do this already, and here you are without a child of your own and are a natural at this.”
“Sidon the time between the two is not that far apart between them. Plus you don't have your mate here. It isn't gong to be easy,” Zelda said. “And it's an omega thing. We natrually know.”
The two babies were crying, wanting nothing more than their mother right now and they were getting close to great plateau.
Zelda was sure this wasn't safe. If their enemy was out there somewhere they would surely know right where they were and who they had with them.
But she also understood why they couldn't leave the babies back at the Domain. They wouldn't be able to function without either of their parents, knowing Sidon would not just sit and wait for someone to find Link.
No, he was determined to find him himself.
“Hush now little one,” Sidon urged gently but Tunos continued to cry as he held him. Zelda urged the carrriage to stop and pulled it off to the side of the road.
“Here,” Zelda said gently, guiding to have Sidon take Ephira as well. Sidon held them close and Zelda did the only thing she could think of.
She wrapped them all in the blanket from Sidon and Link's bed, the only thing that was left that had Link's scent on it.
And then she began to sing.
The crying started to ease off and the two sets of eyes looked towards her, taking in the soft words. It was a gentle lullaby, one that Zelda had used to be sung when she was but a little baby. It had always calmed her down, helping her through hard times.
She let her hands glow then with her own powers, them seeming mesmerized as they listened. She hadn't used her powers in a long time. She was a little out of practice and she knew she had to stay in touch with them.
They might very well be the key to helping Link wherever he was.
Ephira's eyes grew heavy and she started to fall asleep against Sidon's chest, curling her small body in close.
It as Tunos who had a different reaction. He started to giggle, his little legs kicking as he looked at the glowing hands Zelda had.
Zelda's humming slowly came to a stop and she smiled, reaching her glowing hand out to the baby. Sidon tensed, pulling Tunos back a bit.
“Is that safe?” Sidon asked. “I don't want him to get harmed.”
“Now why would I harm him?” Zelda asked with a sigh, rolling her eyes. “Sometimes you alphas can always be so over protective.”
“Sorry...” Sidon sighed. Ever since Link had disappered he had been on such edge lately. He was having a hard time trusting anyone around his children. Zelda was here to help and he knew very well that Zelda would never do anything to harm him or the children.
“Is it alright if I just see what he does? My magic does not harm those on the side of the goddess,” she said.
“Then by all means,” he said, relaxing and couldn't help but let a small tired smile grace his face as Tunos watched the glowing hand.
Zelda reached out her fingers and she felt his small hands wrap around her fingers of her glowing hand. The wind around them seemed to pick up and her eyes widened a bit.
Then as soon as it started it stopped, leaving a warmth between them all. Tunos clapped gently, giggling at the sensation.
And it was nearly missed but his blue eyes seemed to glow brighter before reutrning to normal.
Sidon was shocked and almost at a loss for words. What did this mean? He was so enamored by the power Zelda withheld and then his eyes....
Did his son have an abilty of his own that they didn't know about?
“What was that?” Sidon finally asked as Tunos relaxed in Sidon's hold, staring at his small little hands and then set one of them in his mouth like a normal baby.
“I'm not sure. I've never seen that before,” Zelda admitted. “The only one that I know of having special powers was those connected to the royal family. Like myself and my mother and grandmother and so on.”
“Perhaps there is some form of connect?” he asked. But from what Sidon knew Link was not connected to the royal family by blood. He had the spirit of the hero within him, not the royal blood line. There would have been nothing passed to his son.
Letting out a sigh Sidon looked up at the sky, noting that there was a storm rolling in. It was a good chance to get their scales wet but they would need a place to lay low for the night.
“Is there a stable nearby?” he asked. Zelda looked to the sky and then grasped the reigns, flicking them for the horse to start up again.
“There should be,” she said. “We need to get to shelter before the storm gets bad.”
Thankfully they were able to take shelter in the nearby stable. It gave them a nice view of the Zelda's castle and had plenty of room for Sidon's small family and his travel companion.
After everything that has happened he was glad to consider Zelda a good friend. She had helped him through so much with helping Link and also helping in taking care of his children.
He could see why Link cared for her. She was a wonderful person and as well as a princess who knew of his own headaches when it came to royal life.
Needless to say the stable staff were very surprised and honored to have not only the prince of the Zoras, but the princess of hyrule staying with them.
They made sure to keep their carriage covered, taking their horse in for some much needed rest and some food.
As the rain had started Sidon had taken the children out to get their scales wet, relaxing at the feel of it soaking in.
Not having bodies of water to swim in did make this trip difficult but they were determined. Sidon would not let it stop him from fidning his mate.
As he stepped inside he tried not to drip as he made his way to his bed where he settled his children on the bed on a few blankets.
Ephira clapped her hands as she sat there and looked around at the small glances the other patrons and employees gave them of the stable.
Never had anyone seen his and Link's children. It was their first outing and so far they were doing wonderfully at least when it came to seeing other people.
He just wished Link would have been able to see it.
“We'll find him,” Zelda said gently as she sat down with a few bowls of hot food for them. Someone had been gracious enough to give them bowls of hot stew with bread to dip it in, as well as goat's milk for Tunos. Zelda tried to give rupees or even something else in return but they insisted telling her that they needed the strength in order to find Link and they were just honored to be able to help.
One reason Zelda had insisted on going to stables was the gossip. If anyone heard of anything going on it would be others around the kingdom. And what better waty to find information than going to the places were people stopped to rest.
Inns would be wonderful as well for this but at the moment they were nowhere near one.
“There has been some distrbances at the shrine of resurrection recently,” Zelda said to him. “Up on the plateau. That's were Link woke up a few years ago from his one hundred year sleep.”
Sidon looked up from the bowl he was feeding his Ephira with. He made sure Tunos got the milk he needed. He knew it wasn't Link milk but he had to make do with what he had.
“Is that where we should go tommorrow?” he asked her. “Do you thnk there will be any sort of clues in there?”
“It's worth a shot. We might be able to find some form of evidence that Link had been there or something,” Zelda said, sipping her food.
Sidon nodded his head, brow furrowing when he heard a rumble. He ignored it for now. It was porbably going to be a thunder storm. He was glad that they were in the stable and safe. He just hoped the loud noise and flashing lights wouldn't keep his children awake. They needed their rest.
The silence went between them again and the rumbles were growing a little louder. So much so that some of the other patrons of the stable were getting up to go look outside at the storm.
“What if...we don't find anything,” Sidon finally asked. He had been optomistic that they would find Link. They had gone to places they thought he would be, taken small leads to figured out if there was anything around to follow.
But each time resulted in nothing. There was nothing there, no indication for the next clue. Each one caused Sidon's doubt to develop in what it had settled in today.
Like he had said what if they hadn't been able to find Link at all. If this was just a useless ploy and Sidon would have lost his mate after everything and raise their pups by himself.
“Then we just look in the next spot he could be in,” Zelda said. She was doing her best to keep Sidon's spirits up, that they would find him and she would help reunite the family.
But just like him with each spot they checked with no signs of Link being there it just made things feel like a lost cause.
And if they weren't looking then no one would be and Link would be lost to them forever.
“Zelda...” Sidon sighed, making sure Ephira had enough and made sure that Tunos had finished the small bottle of goat's milk that had been given to him.
He pulled Tunos against his chest and pat his back gently till he let out a small belch.
“We can't stop Sidon. I'm not giving up on him,” she said.
“I'm not either,” Sidon said. “I'm just at a loss of where to go if we don't turn anything up in the morning.”
“Well then let's hope that there is a sign there or something,” Zelda said. She was not going to give up. Link hadn't given up on her when things had seemed hopeless. She was not about to let her best friend down.
Another rumble went through and those that had peeked outside had looks of unease, their eyes turning north of the stable.
“Seems it's going to be a bad storm,” Sidon sighed as he curled both his children up against him, resting their blanket around them both so he could hopefully muffle the sound of the storm outside. It was their first storm and he wished Link was there to help him handle this situation. He would know what to do in order to keep them calm.
“I don't mean to sound rude your highness...but I don't think there's a storm,” one of the hylians said to him as they approached. His eyes then landed on Zelda. “Princess, you might want to come see this. I think something is wrong.”
Zelda frown and set her bowl down, standing up to go look out the stable doors right to the castle. She looked around and a gasp came from her, her hands coming to cover her mouth.
A bad feeling settled in Sidon's stomach and he gathered his children in close with their blanket and came to see what was going on.
To his shock he had never expected to see this...well see it again.
He had seen the castle like this before Link had saved them all...
Covered in malice and a dark energy sat around Hyrule Castle.
“H-how,” Zelda said. The rumbles they were feeling weren't thunder at all but a battle commencing at the castle.
The princess fell to her knees, crying as a sob raked through her.
“Mama?” Ephira asked as she looked ou at the castle and then up at Sidon. The prince paused and then kissed her head.
Link had to be there.
